Arena Booking System

A look at Skedda

Skedda is a web based booking system and is very simple to use. It allows you to see when other people are using the arena and book times for yourself. Our booking site is: yackrc.skedda.com, so put this in the favourites page on your browser. If you have forgotten your log in password, please contact: yackandandahrc@gmail.com

When you log in, you will see any slots that are already booked.  Simply click on the time and area you would like, and click the green "book" button. Simple! You will receive an email notification confirming your booking. You can change or cancel your booking at any time.

Manners

The arena is a shared area - we need to treat each other with respect. Skedda is a notification system, not a definitive reservation system. If you are alone on the jumping area and another member arrives to ride, they can join in even if they haven't booked through Skedda.

If the arena is full and you have used Skedda to make a booking, it would be polite if people who haven't booked made way for the people who have.

Lessons

If you are booking the arena for a lesson with an instructor, then you may book either the whole dressage or the whole jumping area. HOWEVER, this is closely monitored. It is NOT acceptable to book the entire jumping area if you are not having a lesson but would like it to yourself. Nor is acceptable to book the dressage and jumping areas because you are having a dressage lesson and don’t like people jumping while you ride.

If you are one of several people having lessons with an instructor, each person will need to book the correct area for their lesson time. Instructors will not have access to make bookings for you.

Cancelling

It is vital that you cancel your booking if you will no longer be riding (just log in at yackrc.skedda.com, click on your booking and select cancel). The system will be a disaster if it is full of bookings that nobody is turning up for, while others think the arena is in use.

3PE arena (the unfenced arena)

Please remember that the 3PE arena is a public area. If you book it through Skedda, that does not preclude a member of the public using it at any stage.
